This panel will move beyond discussing representation to explore the structural and cultural changes necessary to achieve gender-just journalism. We will examine how newsrooms can intentionally embed a gender and intersectional perspective into their daily reporting, and how some feminist reporters and writers have shifted to newsletter platforms like Substack in order to create new media that centre gender-just stories.
