As part of our Feminist Investigative Journalism Handbook workshop series, this session speaks to the need for stronger collaboration between those who uncover systemic injustice (activists) and those who broadcast it to the world (journalists). However, these two worlds often speak different languages.
This workshop provides communication leads with the blueprint for a new kind of partnership with journalists built on a relational model of collaboration.
Who is this for?
Journalists and journalism students as well as Communication leads, advocacy officers, and organizers within feminist and civil society organizations who are ready to move from “visibility” to “impact.”
This workshop will be led by Nana Darkoa Sekyiamah, IJSC Co-Founder/Co-Director, Communications Strategist and Writer.
