Dear Gender Justice Journalists, Activists and Friends, Over the past few months, we’ve been conducting a multilingual survey to better understand what it means to be trans and visible online across Europe and Central Asia. The stories shared so far are powerful: full of creativity, courage, and connection. But they are also marked by violence, burnout, and grief. Trans people are not only shaping digital culture, they’re holding it open for others. And yet, too often, the cost of that visibility is being paid in silence, threats, or disappearance. As part of this ongoing research, we’re hosting a live event in collaboration with Trans Europe and Central Asia (TGEU) to bring these experiences into conversation:
